La Ford Focus WRC (dal 2001 rinominata in Ford Focus RS WRC) è una versione da competizione della Ford Focus, esplicitamente progettata per partecipare al Campionato del mondo rally, in cui ha gareggiato dal 1999 al 2010 conquistando due titoli mondiali costruttori (2006 e 2007) e 44 vittorie, preceduta in questa speciale classifica solo dalla Lancia Delta Integrale e dalla Subaru Impreza WRC che ne hanno conquistate 46 ciascuna. Il debutto avvenne nel 1999, Ford scelse come prima guida l'asso scozzese Colin McRae, affiancato da Simon Jean-Joseph nelle gare su asfalto, da Thomas Rådström nelle gare su terra e da un ancora giovanissimo Petter Solberg che fece qualche gara per fare esperienza, portando comunque punti preziosi alla squadra nel Mondiale Costruttori. The Ford Focus WRC (from 2001 renamed in the Ford Focus RS WRC) is a racing version of the Ford Focus, explicitly designed to participate in the World Rally Championship, in which it competed from 1999 to 2010 winning two constructors world titles (2006 and 2007) and 44 victories, preceded in this special classification only by the Lancia Delta Integrale and the Subaru Impreza WRC that have won 46 each.The debut took place in 1999, Ford chose as the first drive the Scottish ace Colin McRae, flanked by Simon Jean-Joseph in the asphalt races, by Thomas Rådström in the races on gravel and by a still very young Petter Solberg who did some races to gain experience , still bringing valuable points to the team in the Constructors' Championship.
